洋基今(27)日宣布，陣中一壘手Greg Bird(柏德)因為去年右腳踝開刀的部位有發炎的現象，是以必需於周三接受手術，估計將會缺席6到8周。

25歲的Bird去年接受了手術，以消除右腳踝三角骨增生的骨刺，他該季總共只打了48場角逐，襲擊三圍為.190/.288/.422，敲出9次全壘打和28分打法。
